e-ETMR is an electronic version of the Economic and Technology Management Review, a technical bulletin published by the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI). This bulletin contains technical articles in social science, covering agricultural, resource and environmental economics, agribusiness and marketing, business management, technology management and policy studies. It publishes the latest research in social sciences by research scientists and academicians from research institutions and universities, and aims to be an international forum for all scholars to share their research findings and knowledge for the benefit of society. All articles are reviewed by subject matter experts to ensure originality, relevance and quality. The journal is published once a year and all issues are available on-line.

a. Work on socio-economic research in agricultural economics, agriculture marketing, technology management, information science, innovation, technology transfer and business will be considered
b. Authors should consider the international readership of the bulleting when drafting papers.
c. The aim of the bulletin is to articles on research done and makes it accessible to academicians and research scientist, policy makers and administrators as well as those involved in social and economic development.
Each article will be reviewed by an Editorial Committee for its relevance in publishing and later, sent to peer review. The editorial committee would decide on its publication based on the Editorial Committee evaluation and recommendation.
Articles submitted to the bulletin must not be previously published in other publication.
A written permission is required for authors who wish to use any part of the published articles content. Permission required is for:
a. Non-exclusive rights to reproduce the material in the article
b. Print and electronic rights
a. Article should be between 3000 and 5000 words lenght
b. A title of not more than ten words should be provided
c. A brief autobiographical note should be supplied including:
i - Full name
ii - Affiliation
iii- E-mail address
iv- Full international contact details
v- Brief professional biography
vi- Structured abstract that contain:
d. A minimum of three keywords which encapsulate the principal topic of the article should be provided.
e. The article should be categorised under one of the following classifications:
i - Viewpoint
ii - Case study
f. Heading must be short, with a clear indication of the distinction between the hierarchy of headings. It must be in bold format.
g. All figures (Charts, diagrams and web pages) should be submitted in electronic form. All figures should be of high quality, legible and numbered. Graphics may be supplied in colour to facilitate their appearance on the online database.
Figure created in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, illustrator should be supplied in their native formats.
Photographic images should be submitted electronically and of high quality. They should be saved as tiff or jpeg format at a resolution of at least 330 dpi and at least 10 cm wide. Digital camera should be set at the highest resolution/quality possible.
h. Tables should be typed and included as part of the manuscript.
i. Refences to other publications should be written in MARDI style. House-style examples are as follows.
For book: Surname, Initials, (year). Title of Book, Publisher, Place of publication.
Eg: Haris, J.E. (1985). A Premier of Modern Factor Analysis, 2nd ed. London. Academic Press.
For book chapter: Surname, Initials, (year). Chapter title, Editor's name, Initials (Ed). Title of Book, Publisher, Place of publisher, pages.
